What marble polishing can fix
Marble is softer than most floor tile, and it reacts to acids. Foot traffic, grit and everyday spills slowly wear down the surface. Polishing removes a very thin layer of that worn surface so the finish looks even again.
Dull floors
Entries, hallways and kitchen walkways lose their shine first. Polishing brings back an even finish so worn areas match the rest of the floor.
Dirty marble and grout
Everyday dirt, old wax and cleaning residue build up on the stone and in the grout lines. We deep clean both before any polishing starts.
Scratch marks
Fine scratches from grit, furniture and pets can usually be honed and polished out. Deeper scratches take more work, and we’ll tell you what to expect first.
Etch marks
Dull spots from wine, citrus, vinegar or harsh cleaners are surface damage, not stains. Etch marks can be honed and polished out.

Our marble polishing process
Every marble floor and countertop is a little different, so we match the work to the stone in front of us.
Step 1
Cleaning
We deep clean the stone and grout to remove dirt, residue and old coatings so the marble can be worked evenly.
Step 2
Resurfacing
Using diamond abrasives matched to your marble, we hone the surface to remove etch marks, scratches and wear.
Step 3
Polishing
We polish the marble with professional polishing powder and liquid polish to bring back a clear, even shine.
Step 4
Sealing
When your marble will benefit, we finish with a penetrating sealer to help reduce absorption and staining.
